Glitter and Glam

What a team! The San Mateo Pride Center rocked a most spectacular Intro To Drag event during Transgender Visibility Week earlier this year. Bringing local artists and community members into a dazzling workshop of all things make up, glam and glitter.

The workshop concluded with a powerful and entertaining drag show, ranging from seasoned pros to first time performers. A welcoming, safe environment with lots of learning, connecting and fun was had.
