Elana & Eric's Maternity Shoot

Wow, time sure does fly. Six years later, one pandemic in the rear view mirror and now, knee deep in 5 year old twin parenthood, it is time to find my feet and reboot the blog! And what better way to start than with the delightfully flamboyant Elana, her equally artistic husband, Eric and their little joy, Finch for a most excellent family/maternity shoot.

Starting the shoot at the beautiful Manresa State Beach in Aptos, high noon sun and the windiest of conditions did not deter us. Embracing the elements, the fambam transformed into butterflies, fluttering by, lifted by love, commitment and excitement of the little bump to be.

Making the most of the wind and floating outfit, I do believe we encapsulated in this photo, the powerful, graceful being that is, Elana.

Leaving the beach behind, we found a calm, boho~feel in The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, also in Aptos.

Joining the shoot is the Elana~made crocheted cardigan in all its hippilicious glory.

And we end the shoot and narrative with a majestic, regally vogue pose. Quite possibly one of my favorite photo sessions ever.
